Full Job Description

Audi Honolulu is now hiring for a Service Consultants.

Founded in 1961, JN Group has been in business for over fifty years, and represents eleven world-class automotive brands ranging from daily driving needs to the ultimate in luxury and performance.

We are a family owned, values based organization and understand the important role all of our team members play for our organization, our customers and the brands we represent.

The Service Consultant is responsible for:

Assisting the Service department manager in maintaining a smooth running efficient service department with a high degree of customer satisfaction;
Diagnosing problems accurately, and clearly describing them on the repair order;
Estimating costs and completion times at point of sale and clearly communicating them to customer;
Assigning jobs to technicians based on skill level and current resource utilization;
Reviewing work-in-progress to ensure quality and timeliness;
Occasionally assisting technicians when they are having difficulty performing service work;
Determining correct part numbers on repair orders and assisting the parts department with picking and posting of parts used before job starts;
Performing cashier functions, as needed;
Making estimates for internal and wreck repairs;
Opening & closing all customer paid, warranty, and internal repair orders;
Following procedures for quick & efficient handling of warranty items, including tagging and proper storage of these items;
Becoming familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for service & parts management;
Providing superior customer service to both internal and external customers;
Other job duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Must have at least 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales experience preferred.
General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
Must have one year experience in sales or front-line customer service position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle abstract.
Must have proficient computer skills.

The Service Consultant positions compensation is a monthly salary of $2,000.00 plus commissions.
