Oncology Infusion RN – Travel Contract Opportunity

Location: Grand Junction, CO 81505
Pay: Up to $75/hr | Estimated $2,250+/Week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks | Day Shift

Pinnacle Alliances is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Grand Junction, Colorado. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong oncology and chemotherapy infusion experience who are passionate about providing safe, compassionate care to oncology patients.

Position Details

Position: Oncology Infusion RN
Specialty: Nursing

Location: Grand Junction, CO 81505
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP / Quick Start
Shift: Days
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 30 Hours/Week
EMR: Facility EMR System
Assignment Type: Travel Contract

Pay Package

Pay Rate: Up to $75/hr
Estimated Weekly Gross: Up to $2,250/week

Job Responsibilities

The Oncology Infusion RN will provide safe, effective, and comprehensive infusion care to oncology patients while collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities include:

Administer chemotherapy and IV medications through peripheral IVs and PICC lines
Provide direct patient care following physician orders and nursing protocols
Perform patient assessments and identify potential health concerns
Monitor patients during chemotherapy and infusion treatments
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-treatment care
Maintain a safe and therapeutic care environment
Provide patient education and follow-up after chemotherapy treatments
Utilize infection control practices and safety precautions
Document patient care accurately in medical records
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and update patient care plans
Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff when needed

Required Qualifications

Active RN license (State license must be currently active)
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Minimum 1 year of Oncology experience required
Experience with chemotherapy administration and infusion services
Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
Current BLS certification
OCN certification preferred (or must obtain within one year of hire)
