Full Job Description

Better Hearing Center has been helping Bay Area residents hear better and stay connected to the people they love since 1974. What began in Walnut Creek has grown to six locations throughout the Bay Area, supported by a team of caring professionals who are committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.

We are seeking a warm, capable and dependable Patient Care Coordinator for our Menlo Park hearing healthcare practice. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys helping people, working independently, staying organized, and making sure the details of a professional healthcare office are handled well.

This is a part-time position initially averaging approximately 12-20 hours per week , primarily Mondays, alternating Wednesday/Thursdays, and Friday mornings. Some flexibility is important, as hours may vary slightly based on the patient care schedule.

Healthcare or professional office experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right person. Attitude, reliability and a genuine desire to help people are especially important to us.

What You'll Do

As the onsite Patient Care Coordinator for our Menlo Park office, you will work as part of a larger administrative team to help ensure that patients receive excellent care and that the office runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

Warmly greeting patients and assisting them throughout their visits.
Scheduling appointments and answering incoming calls when available.
Managing incoming and outgoing hearing aid orders, repairs and related paperwork.
Entering and maintaining accurate patient information in our practice management system.
Preparing invoices, receiving funds and processing patient payments.
Handling general administrative responsibilities and patient follow-up.
Keeping the front office organized and ensuring that daily tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Working closely with our remote administrative team to maintain continuity and excellent service for our Menlo Park patients.

Although you will sometimes work independently in the Menlo Park office, you'll be part of an experienced team that provides ongoing support and works together to keep patient care and administrative responsibilities on track.
