Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafter for a small construction company to produce technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by our clients. Work with the clients to create technical drawings of their project. The Drafter will use Chief Architect software to create precise and accurate representations of structures, components, or systems ensuring all drawings adhere to industry standards and project requirements.

· Develop detailed drawings and plans for structures, systems, and components using Chief Architect.

· Interpret design sketches, engineering notes, and specifications to produce technical drawings.

· Revise drawings based on feedback from project managers, engineers, or architects.

· Ensure that all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and best practices.

· Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions.

· Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and construction teams to resolve design-related issues.

· Assist in estimating material quantities and prepping layouts.

· Knowledge in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.

· Proficiency in Chief Architect software.

· Strong understanding of drafting techniques, drawing standards, and engineering principles.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay is $22 - $26 depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
