The Company

Pioneer is a locally owned and operated aerospace manufacturer located in Helena, Montana. Our team consists of about 60 dedicated, career-minded employees, and we are expanding into more work!

Our current work includes complex aerospace parts used on some of the world’s most advanced stealth aircraft.
We use advanced machining techniques and a team-focused approach to produce high-quality parts efficiently and consistently.

The Position

We are looking for entry-level CNC Machinists to join our team.

No machining experience is required. We provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in building a long-term career in advanced manufacturing.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Self-motivated, punctual, and dependable
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment
Interest in hands-on, technical work

Responsibilities

Follow established procedures to set up and operate large 5-axis CNC mills in a team environment
Maintain machine cleanliness, organization, and basic machine function
Monitor cutting tools and identify tool wear early to help prevent downtime and quality issues
Perform in-process dimensional checks to help ensure parts meet quality requirements
Communicate clearly with team members, leads, and support departments

$20.00/hour starting wage.

Schedule
