Senior Glass Technician (Residential & Commercial)

Custom Glass & Windows is a locally owned glass company serving Helena and the surrounding communities. We specialize in residential replacement windows, insulated glass replacement, custom shower enclosures, mirrors, commercial storefront systems, and residential and commercial entrance doors.

We're committed to doing the job right the first time through accurate measuring, quality materials, professional installation, and exceptional customer service.

Our technicians work on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects, giving them the opportunity to expand their skills while taking pride in exceptional craftsmanship.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Glass Technician to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. The successful candidate must be able to accurately measure, troubleshoot, and install a wide variety of residential and commercial glass products with minimal supervision while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities

· Measure residential replacement windows, insulated glass units (IGUs), custom shower enclosures, commercial storefront systems, and commercial entrance doors.
· Install residential replacement windows.
· Install custom shower enclosures, including all required hardware and accessories.
· Install insulated glass units (IGUs), mirrors, and other custom glass products.
· Install residential and commercial entry doors.
· Install commercial storefront glass and entrance systems.
· Troubleshoot field conditions and determine practical installation solutions.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
· Safely transport and handle large glass products using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
· Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
· Complete work orders, measurements, documentation, and jobsite photographs using company software.
· Represent Custom Glass & Windows professionally while working with homeowners, contractors, builders, architects, and commercial customers.

Required Qualifications

· Minimum three years of professional glass installation experience.
· Experience independently measuring residential replacement windows, commercial storefront systems, and custom shower enclosures.
· Experience installing residential replacement windows, custom shower enclosures, commercial storefront systems, and residential and commercial entry doors.
· Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
· Ability to safely lift and handle glass products weighing 75 pounds or more.
