Staffing Coordinator / Recruiter

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In person

Job Description

Are you organized, detail-oriented, personable, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping people?

We are looking for a Staffing Coordinator / Recruiter to join our team. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role that combines recruiting, client communication, employee support, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate is someone who can manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships, and follow through on the details from the first candidate conversation through placement and onboarding.

What You’ll Do

Recruit, screen, and interview candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions.
Review resumes, create job postings, source candidates, and maintain an active candidate pipeline.
Get to know candidates, their experience, goals, and what they are looking for in their next opportunity.
Present qualified candidates to clients and coordinate interviews, offers, and start dates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, employees, hiring managers, and clients.
Assist with background checks, E-Verify, onboarding paperwork, and other pre-employment requirements.
Maintain accurate candidate and employee records within recruiting and staffing systems.
Assist with timecards, payroll-related communication, and supervisor approvals when needed.
Follow up with employees and clients to ensure placements and assignments are going well.
Manage changing priorities, emails, phone calls, deadlines, and follow-ups throughout the day.

What We’re Looking For

Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
A genuine people person who enjoys building relationships and helping others.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative.
Comfortable working with confidential employee and candidate information.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning recruiting and staffing systems.
Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, or administrative work is a plus.

The right person for this role is someone who can be warm and professional, organized but adaptable, and comfortable switching between recruiting, client communication, employee needs, and administrative responsibilities throughout the day.
