Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team at Glass Ceiling Rooftop with passion, precision, and creativity. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Your leadership will inspire excellence in food preparation, uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation, and foster a collaborative team atmosphere. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and support staff, to ensure efficient daily operations
Develop and execute innovative menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences, incorporating dietary considerations when necessary
Oversee food production processes, ensuring high-quality presentation and consistency across all dishes served
Manage inventory control and food management procedures to minimize waste while maintaining optimal stock levels
Enforce strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures, hygiene standards, and health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from preparation to service
Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment

Requirements

Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
Extensive banquet experience coupled with catering expertise to handle diverse event requirements
Demonstrated supervising experience managing culinary teams within high-volume settings
Deep understanding of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and health regulations in the food industry
Skilled in menu planning, cost control, inventory management, and food handling techniques
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and fostering a positive work environment
Strong background in restaurant or hospitality management with experience overseeing food service operations
