Full Job Description

Club EVEXIA, Southern Marin’s Luxury Fitness, Wellness, and Social Club is looking for an Elite Personal Trainer.

Responsible for developing individual exercise programs to help members meet their personal fitness and exercise goals, instruct and assist members on exercise equipment, and continually monitor members' needs and progress.

The ultimate result is to increase membership retention through members' success with Club EVEXIA Fitness Programs.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

Professionalism and Fitness Knowledge. Maintain quality of individual PT programs with ongoing assessments and evaluations.
Meet and Maintain EVEXIA Brand Standards. Memorize company standard Personal Training presentation(s).
Entrepreneurship. Achieve at least 85% of monthly individual PT goal.
Excellent Organization and Prioritization. Maintain an organized filing system of new and existing personal training clients, that includes workout programs and ongoing PT contracts..
Excellent Customer Service. Meet a minimum of 10 new members when on floor time, in addition to follow-up phone calls to all new and referred members on a regular basis or as needed.
Collaboration. Work as a team member within the Fitness Department to provide a high level of service to members.
Safety. Monitor the fitness floor for safety, compliance with gym rules, and reporting any needed repairs.
Computer Literacy. Maintain schedule of availability on Club EVEXIA scheduling system. Update daily – weekly schedule; schedules are required to be four weeks out.
Desire for Continuing Education. Attend all fitness meetings, including in-house Fitness Dept. meetings, this may include conducting and/or participating in a monthly in-house personal training event.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have 5 years Minimum Personal Training experience
Must have current Personal Training Certification (ACSM, NASM)
Must have current CPR/AED Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 3 years (of the minimum 5) of Personal Training experience in a health club setting.
Bachelor's degree, higher level of education, or equivalent in Exercise Science, Physiology, or Kinesiology.

Other certifying bodies will be considered.

Must have current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (or must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
