Job Description
Summary
The Senior Staff Accountant will contribute to various aspects of Accounting, including the closing process and journal entry processing, budgeting, cost accounting, forecasting, analysis, account reconciliations, and various reporting and filing.
Essential Accounting Functions
Responsible for monthly closing processes including the processing of journal entries, intercompany reconciliation, intercompany tie-out, etc.
Reconcile, review and analyze general ledger accounts and research any discrepancies
Adhere to all SOX requirements.
Tracking, analysis, budgeting, and reporting on capital investment projects
Assist with inventory reporting, cycle count reporting and resolution of discrepancies
Coordinate fixed asset cycle counting processes/procedures
Support training in Accounts Receivable billing/invoicing, prepaids, sales and use tax, misc. receipts
Support Accounts Payable in a supplementary processing role
Depreciation expense and related capital reporting
Payroll entry posting, labor distributions as needed
Any other special projects as needed
Qualifications
Experience and knowledge of standard costing preferred
Good working knowledge of all MS Office applications and internet applications
Ability to work under minimal supervision and use own initiative
Reliable team member and strong interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and achievement oriented
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work effectively
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
Able to work outside of normal office hours as business requires
Ability to travel within US

Education and Experience
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field required. Three to five years of relevant experience Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Financial Accounting field.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $76,100 to $114,100 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1.5X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
