Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of civil litigation and experience in e-filing in multiple jurisdictions. This role is crucial in supporting attorneys through various stages of litigation, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-5 years of experience as legal assistant/paralegal.
Experience with E-Filing in Illinois
Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking in a busy, deadline-driven environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook)
Ability to quickly learn new procedures
Strong proofreading and editing skills
Ability to successfully prioritize multiple projects and meet internal and external deadlines
Willingness and ability to perform additional tasks as required
Ability to anticipate needs and manage changing priorities

Responsibilities

Assist in the drafting and proofreading of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Perform data entry tasks to ensure all information is accurately documented in our systems.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in litigation while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
E-filing in multiple states/jurisdictions.
Scheduling meetings and depositions.
