Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to manage the company's accounting and financial operations. The Controller will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance while working closely with operations and executive management.

The ideal candidate will have accounting experience and a strong understanding of accounting operations.

Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close.
Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow reports.
Track and analyze the financial performance of aircraft and component repair orders.
Monitor labor, material, outside services, and overhead costs.
Review job profitability and identify cost overruns or margin issues.
Work with operations and management to improve financial performance.
Manage inventory accounting, including aerospace parts, materials, cores, and customer-owned inventory.
Maintain strong internal controls and accurate financial records.
Support annual audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and company requirements.
Provide management with clear financial reports and recommendations.
Work with purchasing and operations to control costs and improve cash flow.
Support capital purchases, equipment investments, and business growth decisions.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
5+ years of accounting or financial management experience.
Controller or senior accounting management experience required.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience with job costing and inventory accounting.
Strong Excel and ERP/accounting system skills.
Ability to analyze labor, material, and repair-order costs.
Strong understanding of internal controls and audit processes.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work closely with operations, quality, purchasing, engineering, and executive management.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
