Product Team Specialist

Job Title: Product Team Specialist

About the Role

IWAE is seeking a highly organized, detail-obsessed Product Team Specialist to support the execution and accuracy of our ecommerce product catalog and merchandising operations.

This is not an entry-level administrative role. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced ecommerce environment, can manage large amounts of product data with precision, and understands how accurate product information directly impacts sales, customer experience, and operational performance.

The ideal candidate has experience working with complex product catalogs, ecommerce systems, and cross-functional teams. They are proactive, accountable, technically capable, and able to maintain a high standard of quality while managing multiple priorities.

This position is best suited for candidates who enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership of their work in a performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and optimize ecommerce product listings, specifications, attributes, and merchandising content
Execute new product launches with accuracy and urgency across multiple systems and channels
Coordinate product data updates between Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and vendor partners
Monitor catalog quality and proactively identify inconsistencies, missing data, and listing errors
Support pricing, promotional, and seasonal merchandising initiatives
Assist with catalog audits, bulk data cleanup projects, and process improvement initiatives
Maintain internal documentation, product standards, and operational procedures
Analyze recurring product-related customer issues and escalate trends appropriately
Ensure product information remains accurate, current, and aligned with brand and campaign objectives
Support reporting initiatives and KPI tracking related to catalog health and ecommerce performance

What We’re Looking For

We are specifically seeking candidates with strong ecommerce, merchandising, product operations, or catalog management experience.

Applicants with unrelated backgrounds or limited computer/data management experience are unlikely to be a fit for this position.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in ecommerce, product operations, merchandising, catalog management, or product data administration
Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, data organization, and digital systems
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and workflows quickly

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP, PIM, ecommerce, or catalog management systems
Experience working with large SKU catalogs or technical products
Familiarity with ecommerce merchandising principles and online customer behavior
Experience supporting product launches or promotional campaigns
