Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pipe Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating pipe systems in accordance with industry standards, blueprints, and safety protocols. Your expertise will ensure the integrity and quality of piping installations across various projects, contributing to the successful completion of complex mechanical systems. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing advanced welding techniques and mechanical knowledge to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical blueprints to determine welding requirements and fabrication specifications.
Perform stainless steel pipe welding using various techniques including Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) and Automatic - Orbital in welding environments.
Measure and mark metal materials accurately using measuring instruments, and shop math skills to ensure precise cuts and welds.
Ensure all welding activities adhere strictly to AWS standards, ASME codes & standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, inspecting equipment such as power tools and hand tools regularly, and following safety protocols at all times.

Experience

Proven construction site experience with a focus on pipe welding, fabrication shop experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams accurately.
Hands-on experience with various welding techniques including MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), SMAW (stick welding), and FCAW in industrial or construction settings.
Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise fabrication tasks.
Knowledge of metal materials, specifically stainless steel.
Experience operating rigging equipment, pipe threading tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, forklifts or other machinery is advantageous.
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to welding operations on construction sites or fabrication environments.
