Full Job Description

Schroeder Law Group/Ohio Legacy Law is seeking a client-facing Attorney to join its growing Southern Ohio practice.

This position is a strong fit for either a newer attorney who wants to build real-world experience across several practice areas or an experienced attorney seeking meaningful work with better work-life balance.

The role includes appearances in local courts, collaboration as part of a litigation team, and direct client meetings for intake and strategy involving estate planning, probate, business, and real estate matters.

Responsibilities

Meet with prospective and existing clients for intake, consultations, and strategy sessions involving estate planning, probate, business, and real estate matters.
Represent clients in local courts and appear for hearings, conferences, and related proceedings as needed.
Work as part of a litigation team, including matter development, client communication, and case support.
Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to the firm’s core practice areas, including estate planning, probate, business, and real estate matters.
Guide clients with clear, practical legal advice tailored to their goals and circumstances.
Collaborate with firm staff to move matters forward efficiently and maintain a high level of client service.

Qualifications

Licensed attorney in Ohio or expecting Ohio licensure in the near term.
Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in a client-facing role.
Ability to appear in local courts and handle matters professionally from intake through resolution.
Interest in or experience with estate planning, probate, business, real estate, and related litigation.
Organized, dependable, and able to work well within a team-based environment.
New attorneys with strong initiative are encouraged to apply, and experienced attorneys seeking a balanced schedule are also welcome.
