Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator and Account Manager to join our growing team. This role combines technical expertise in construction estimating with proactive client relationship management, ensuring projects are accurately bid and seamlessly executed. You will play a vital part in driving business growth by delivering precise cost estimates and fostering strong, long-term customer partnerships. Your energy, negotiation skills, and construction knowledge will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in HVAC solutions across diverse projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive HVAC project estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope using tools like Bluebeam and HeavyBid software.
Develop accurate cost proposals, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable agreements that align with project budgets.
Manage multiple projects from initial estimate through project completion, coordinating with construction teams to ensure scope adherence and cost control.
Build and nurture client relationships by understanding their needs, providing timely updates, and offering tailored HVAC solutions that meet their objectives.
Oversee construction site activities related to HVAC installations, ensuring safety standards, quality control, and schedule adherence.
Collaborate with project managers to review contracts, monitor project progress, and implement effective cost management strategies.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on HVAC systems; familiarity with Bluebeam and HeavyBid is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing and contractual terms.
Knowledge of construction management principles, including project management practices and contract administration.
Hands-on experience working on construction sites within the HVAC or broader construction industry.
Expertise in cost control techniques, pricing strategies, and managing budgets for complex projects.
Familiarity with construction estimating software tools such as HeavyBid or equivalent platforms.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
