Overview

The Office Manager/Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of their assigned office. They oversee staff management, workflow efficiency, and administrative accuracy at the office. This position requires a proactive, adaptable leader who can handle a wide range of responsibilities, support their team, and foster a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee patient check-in/check-out processes and ensure exceptional patient care.
Manage and optimize the daily schedule to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times.
Present treatment plans, discuss financial arrangements, and secure payment agreements.
Resolve patient concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
Manage accounts receivable, billing, insurance claims, collections, and payment processing.
Monitor key performance indicators and assist with practice profitability and financial goals.
Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate support staff.
Manage employee schedules, payroll, and timesheets.
Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, and all applicable regulations.
Oversee inventory, supply ordering, vendor relationships, and facility operations.
Assist with front desk operations as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth patient experience
Reconciling daily financial transactions and preparing reports to ensure accuracy.

Skills

5+ years of dental office experience, including at least 1–3 years in a management or leadership role.
Dental Assistant License - previously or currently active
High school diploma required; degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience discussing financial arrangements with patients.
Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Denticon, Eaglesoft, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, claims processing, and revenue cycle management preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
