Gastroenterology Physician – Full-Time

Location: Northwest Indiana (45 minutes from Chicago)

Position Overview

A well-established and growing healthcare system is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a collegial, physician-led group in the Chicagoland area.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care , strong support, and excellent earning potential within a rapidly expanding system.

Practice Highlights

Join a team of 4 physicians with NP support
Professional Service Agreement model
Collaborative, mentorship-driven environment
System experiencing significant growth across all service lines
Access to a large, diverse patient population

Schedule & Clinical Details

Full-time position (inpatient + outpatient mix)
1:7 call rotation
Clinic volume: 20–30 patients per day
Hospital rounding: 10–15 patients per day
Practice location: Hobart / Crown Point, IN

Technology & Support

EPIC EMR (HIMSS Stage VII – top-tier system, only ~5% of hospitals achieve this level)
Fully integrated across inpatient and outpatient settings
Dedicated support team for providers
Strong APP (NP) support in both settings
