Full Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Support the Pastry Chef, Sous Chef & Executive Chef in delivering
exceptional bakery items, menu selections and catering offerings, inventory control, and proper
food handling. Works in tandem with the culinary team to support multiple venues, events and
functions. Must be organized and an efficient time manager to deliver The Loxahatchee
Experience consistently to our members.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Assists with the preparation of all bake goods for Club/banquet-catering and in-home functions
according to policies and prep/par sheets
2. Utilizes all left-overs as instructed
3. Willing to work and assist on all stations and positions in culinary department
4. Assist our Pastry Chef in the preparation of daily items and specials
5. Daily cleaning and organizing of the bakery / pastry area
6. Assist other production areas when time permits
7. Follows all preparation standards and line set-up policies. Prepares tickets and functions sheets
as quickly as possible ensuring quality and presentation procedures are followed
8. Keeps his/her station clean and organized at all times and ensures proper sanitation policies are
followed
9. Assists in banquet production and plating
10. Maintains and rotates all products- communicating with supervisors when products are not
servable or other problems
11. Cleans and rotates all containers daily
12. Follows all sanitation policies as set by county and state policies
13. Up to date with sanitation certification and safety procedures
14. Instructs cooks in cleaning of equipment in his/her area
15. Keep Pastry items plentiful in the absence of the Pastry Chef
16. Assist in other areas as directed by the Executive Chef

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 3 years experience delivering 5 star
quality products and service. Country Club experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Able to lift 50 lbs
2. Able to stand and work long hours
3. Able to work under hot and stressful conditions
