Field Supervisor – NYC Tri-State Area

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: NYC & Tri-State Area
Experience: Field Supervision / Operations Management Preferred

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and motivated Field Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced field service environment.

The Field Supervisor will oversee field technicians and crews, manage daily operations at job sites, delegate assignments, ensure work is completed properly and on schedule, and make sure employees follow all company policies and safety requirements.

We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, dependable, and confident in a leadership role. The right candidate must be able to manage employees, communicate effectively, resolve problems in the field, and hold team members accountable.

Responsibilities

● Supervise and manage field technicians and crews on a daily basis.

● Assign and delegate work to employees based on job requirements.

● Visit and monitor job sites to ensure work is being performed properly.

● Ensure employees follow company policies, safety procedures, and job-site requirements.

● Provide employees with direction, guidance, and support.

● Address employee performance issues and resolve conflicts professionally.

● Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

● Communicate with customers, property managers, and office management.

● Review work orders and ensure technicians understand the scope of work.

● Make sure employees arrive on time, are properly uniformed, and have the necessary tools and equipment.

● Document job-site conditions, completed work, damages, issues, and follow-up requirements.

● Identify problems in the field and take appropriate action to resolve them.

● Report job-site issues, employee concerns, delays, and other important information to management.

● Assist with scheduling and daily coordination of field staff.

● Lead by example and maintain a professional work environment.

Qualifications

● Previous supervisory, foreman, or field management experience preferred.

● Strong leadership and communication skills.

● Ability to delegate tasks and manage multiple employees.

● Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

● Ability to work independently and manage multiple job sites.

● Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

● Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.

● Valid driver’s license required.

● Reliable transportation preferred.

● Must be comfortable traveling throughout the NYC Tri-State Area.

● Must be available to work in a fast-paced field environment.
