Richmark Solutions is a growing remodeling and construction company focused on delivering high-quality residential projects with exceptional communication, organization, and craftsmanship.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Estimator / Quoter who can accurately estimate remodeling projects, build professional proposals, manage change orders, and maintain accurate job costing — primarily through JobTread.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is highly organized, understands residential construction, and is comfortable working extensively inside a construction management software platform.
The Role
The Estimator / Quoter will be responsible for taking project information, plans, measurements, scopes of work, and material requirements and turning them into accurate, profitable, professional estimates and customer quotes.
You will also be responsible for keeping project costs accurate throughout the job, processing change orders, and working closely with Project Managers to ensure the financial side of each project is up to date.
JobTread experience is strongly preferred. The successful candidate should be comfortable spending a significant portion of their day working in JobTread.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate residential remodeling and construction projects accurately and thoroughly
- Review plans, scopes of work, measurements, specifications, and project details
- Develop detailed material and labor estimates
- Obtain and compare subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Build detailed customer proposals and quotes in JobTread
- Create accurate cost codes, assemblies, line items, and pricing within JobTread
- Maintain accurate job budgets and estimated costs
- Track actual job costs against estimated costs
- Review job costing regularly and identify budget issues early
- Prepare and process customer change orders
- Price change orders accurately for labor, materials, subcontractors, overhead, and profit
- Update project budgets and costs when scope changes
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure job costs are entered and categorized correctly
- Review purchase orders, bills, subcontractor costs, and other project expenses for accuracy
- Help identify estimating errors before they impact project profitability
- Maintain organized documentation for each project
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and clarify scope
- Assist with value engineering and cost-saving opportunities when appropriate
- Continuously improve estimating accuracy, templates, pricing, and processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in JobTread throughout the entire project lifecycle
JobTread Responsibilities
This position will work extensively in JobTread.
You should either already be highly proficient in JobTread or have strong experience with similar construction management/estimating software and be able to learn JobTread quickly.

- Entering and tracking job costs
- Processing change orders
- Maintaining cost codes
- Reviewing committed vs. actual costs
- Tracking subcontractor and material costs
- Updating project financial information
- Reviewing project profitability
- Maintaining accurate project information from estimating through completion

Required Qualifications
- Construction estimating experience
- Residential remodeling/construction experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with construction management or estimating software
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- JobTread experience
- Experience estimating residential remodels
- Experience with job costing
- Experience creating and managing change orders
- Experience with Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, Buildern, or similar construction software
- Experience working with subcontractor bids and vendor pricing
- Experience with QuickBooks

A successful Estimator / Quoter at Richmark Solutions will:
Estimate accurately → Quote profitably → Document thoroughly → Track costs → Catch problems early.
We need someone who understands that the job doesn't end when the quote is sent.
You will help ensure that the numbers established during estimating remain accurate throughout the project so our Project Managers and leadership team always know where the job stands financially.
Work Environment
This is a fast-paced construction environment with multiple projects moving simultaneously. The position requires someone who can stay organized, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high level of accuracy even when things are moving quickly.
Compensation
Pay: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, construction knowledge, estimating ability, and JobTread proficiency.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $73,874.05 per year
