Full Job Description

Job Title: Wraparound Supervisor, High Fidelity Wraparound Program

Department: YWCA Family Services

Reports to: Director, Family Services

Job summary: The Wraparound Supervisor provides supervision to Wraparound Care Coordinators and Family Support Specialist delivering High Fidelity Wraparound to youth with complex behavioral health needs. This role focuses on hands-on coaching, skill development, fidelity monitoring, clinical oversight and ensuring Wraparound remains family-driven, youth-guided, strength-based, and culturally responsive. The Supervisor models Wraparound values, supports staff development through skill/process focused supervision and field-based coaching, and promotes continuous quality improvement across care coordination staff and the program. The Supervisor is also responsible for providing both clinical and administrative oversight. This position is an hourly non-exempt position.

Minimum Job Requirements

Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience working with youth and families with complex behavioral needs
Experience delivering or supervising High Fidelity Wraparound or similar team-based care coordination model, preferred
Experience providing Wraparound supervision and clinical oversight, preferred
Experience implementing Evidence-Based Practices to fidelity, preferred
Knowledge of Medicaid, child serving systems and community-based services and supports
Commitment to the Wraparound principles: Family voice and choice, team based, natural supports, collaboration, community based, culturally competent, individualized, strengths based, unconditional/persistent and outcomes based
Excellent problem solving, organization, communication both written & verbal and basic computer skills
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize
Pass all pre-employment drug screens, background clearances, and maintain driving clearances
Ability to lift 30 pounds, sit, stand, and bend
Valid Illinois Driver’s License and vehicle insurance
Must be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of families, including some evenings and occasional weekend hours
Required to work in clients’ homes and community settings.
Required travel to sites throughout identified service area.
Obtain and document a minimum of fifteen (15) hours of professional development annually.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision to a team of Wraparound Care Coordinators and Family Support Specialists, including weekly individual supervision, ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and annual evaluations.
Facilitate at minimum monthly group supervision and case consultation focused on Wraparound practice, fidelity, skill development, and creative problem-solving.
Conduct monthly field observations of family engagement activities, Child and Family Team Meetings, and other Wraparound services, providing timely coaching and real-time feedback to staff.
Support staff in implementing all phases of the High-Fidelity Wraparound process, including engagement, assessment, team preparation, facilitation, crisis and safety planning, care planning, transition planning, and discharge.
Review and approve documentation to ensure services are timely, accurate, strengths-based, family-driven, and compliant with agency, funder, and program requirements.
Monitor program fidelity using documentation reviews, direct observation, fidelity measures, outcome data, and family feedback, and implement quality improvement strategies as needed.
Provide clinical oversight and consultation regarding complex cases, safety concerns, crisis response, and barriers to service delivery.
Monitor caseload assignments and ratios, staff productivity, and service timelines to ensure quality, timely, and equitable service delivery.
Ensure staff complete all required onboarding, orientation, mandatory trainings, and ongoing professional development.
Lead or assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention of Wraparound staff.
Collaborate with families, community partners, schools, child-serving systems, and other stakeholders to promote coordinated, family-centered services.
Assist staff in identifying and coordinating community resources, referrals, and natural supports that align with family needs and goals.
Analyze program data and performance metrics to monitor outcomes, identify trends, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Represent the Wraparound program at internal meetings, community collaborations, and partner meetings, as assigned.
Provide coverage and support for staff during planned or unexpected absences to ensure continuity of services.
Promote adherence to agency policies, High-Fidelity Wraparound standards, confidentiality requirements, and applicable federal, state, and grant regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
