Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in our restaurant, contributing to menu planning, and ensuring that every dish meets our fine dining standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
Manage inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or discrepancies.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating proficiency with knives and other cooking tools.
Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of high-quality meals.

Experience

Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
Familiarity with fine dining standards and techniques is a plus.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are required.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continuously improve skills within the kitchen environment.
