Full Job Description

Trigon Steel Components is looking to add a Project Coordinator to our growing team. We are seeking candidates who excel in communication, possess ironclad organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. On a normal day, the Project Coordinator may work alone or closely with a team to keep our projects moving forward seamlessly, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake the following duties and more as instructed by the Project Management team:

Project Support: Assist in the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple projects simultaneously.
Documentation & Tracking: Maintain current drawings, site photos, daily reports, up-to-date time tickets from trades, and all related project documentation.
Logistics & Procurement: Maintain the material delivery/procurement log, track material deliveries, follow up on lead times, and order materials.
Communication: Handle vendor and customer correspondence, including sending reminders and post-delivery communications to project contacts.
Administrative Management: Manage the administrative aspects of the project, including scheduling, cost reporting, and documenting pertinent conversations and phone calls.
Information Flow: Receive, review, forward, and track the status of all submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), shop drawings, substitution requests, and change orders.
Quality & Collaboration: Work closely with the team to review the scope of work, evaluate project-related processes to reduce costs, and participate in weekly meetings.
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
Organization: Multitasking with a sense of urgency while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Tech Savvy: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Problem Solving: Confident, direct, and adaptable with a knack for conflict resolution and making sound decisions under tight deadlines.
Core Values: A team player who acts with integrity, supports company values, and focuses on exceeding customer expectations.
Education: Minimum High School Diploma/GED required. A college degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus but not required.
Experience: 1 year of experience in project coordination, administration, or management preferred.
