Privately-owned, physician-led, established practice is seeking an experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our growing medical dermatology practice in Harnett County, North Carolina.

The final work schedule will be established by the practice based on patient demand, provider coverage, staffing, continuity of care, and the operational needs of the practice. Reasonable flexibility may be considered within those requirements, but the position requires dependable availability for a consistent four-to-five-day weekly schedule.

Clinical Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant will provide high-quality medical dermatology care to patients across a broad range of ages and clinical conditions.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Performing comprehensive skin examinations;
Evaluating new, changing, and concerning skin lesions;
Diagnosing and treating common and complex dermatologic conditions;
Managing acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and disorders of the hair, skin, and nails;
Performing skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and other appropriate office-based procedures;
Providing skin-cancer surveillance, prevention counseling, and patient education;
Developing individualized and evidence-based treatment plans;
Providing follow-up care and longitudinal management of established patients;
Reviewing clinical results;
Responding appropriately and promptly to patient questions and clinical communications;
Completing accurate, thorough, and timely documentation;
Maintaining an efficient and appropriately productive patient schedule;
Complying with practice policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements; and
Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, patient coordinators, billing personnel, and administrative leadership.
This is primarily a medical dermatology position. The selected PA will not be required to establish a cosmetic practice or promote elective products and services.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
Current Physician Assistant certification;
Eligibility for North Carolina licensure and prescribing authority;
At least two years of independent clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in medical dermatology;
Experience performing comprehensive skin examinations;
Proficiency with skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and other common dermatologic procedures;
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills;
The ability to manage an appropriate daily patient volume efficiently and safely;
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities;
Accurate and timely documentation habits;
Strong patient-communication and interpersonal skills;
Professionalism, maturity, dependability, and sound judgment;
A collaborative and respectful approach to physicians and staff; and
A genuine interest in establishing a long-term role within the practice.
The practice is particularly interested in candidates who can enter the position with strong medical dermatology knowledge and become independently productive following an appropriate orientation to the practice's systems, standards, and procedures.

Maintain a reliable four-to-five-day weekly schedule;

Complete charts and other documentation promptly;
Address prescriptions, results, referrals, and patient follow-up responsibilities in a timely manner;
Communicate concerns appropriately through established clinical and administrative channels;
Support practice policies and operational procedures;
Work cooperatively with physicians and all members of the care team;
Participate constructively in practice-growth and quality-improvement efforts; and
Contribute consistently to the clinical, operational, and financial health of the organization.

Compensation
The practice offers a compensation structure designed to provide financial stability while rewarding clinical productivity and practice growth.
Compensation will include:
