Full Job Description

iPower is a leading integrated supplier of high-quality industrial components and engineering solutions tailored for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across various industries. Our dedication to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction has established us as an integral procurement and engineering solution provider in the OEM sector.

The Senior Staff Accountant provides strong accounting and analytical support to the operational and management team. Assists in the coordination of the annual audit, monthly financial close, and day-to-day accounting and finance functions. Individual will seek potential process and system enhancements that will allow for more timely and accurate reporting, working cross-functionally in the finance department to build a stronger, more efficient, results-oriented team.

This is an in-office position in Agawam, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in driving the monthly financial closing process, establishing controls, account reconciliations and review to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Review monthly financials, identifying and preparing journal adjustments and accruals.
Maintain tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitoring and reporting results and making recommendations for maximizing opportunities.
Analyze monthly financial and operating results, isolating and explaining key variance items.
Provide day-to-day support in the development of tools, templates, and financial models to assist in general decision making and in support of operational performance with a specific focus on identifying and driving improved processes and controls that align with company goals.
Analyze data to include trends and developing forecasts to produce forward thinking results.
Demonstrate and drive a culture of continuous improvement in finance processes, including robust analytic capabilities.
Support annual financial audit through preparation of schedules and interface with external auditors.

· Provide training, direction, support, and feedback to direct reports to ensure the effective fiscal and operational management of the company.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred with a concentration in Accounting/Finance related discipline or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of related experience; excellent analytical skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Advanced system skills with ability to access data with various applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Budget Software tools).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; well organized with attention to details.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
