We are searching for a full service, dependable, Restaurant Manager to join the team at The Surfing Pig Hawaii, a small 50 seat quality driven restaurant and IYKYK speakeasy in Kaimuki. A great candidate would have the following attributes...confidence, knowledgeable in restaurant service, craft cocktail programs, menu engineering with a fun sense of leadership and expectations. Customer service and quality are our priority here at The Surfing Pig. As a manager, you would have to be comfortable with significant guest interaction and have the ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely manner. We want to continue to make a mark on our neighborhood. You must have a "Whatever it takes attitude" and be fun to work with. - Daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Train and develop team members to deliver great guest service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assist in implementing strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.
- Assist in leading the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food quality.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment

- Previous experience in award winning (but not stuffy or stiff) full-service restaurant management or a related field is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, vendors and ownership.
- Knowledge of food service management, including inventory control, labor management, and command of the food and liquor menu.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques, production processes and sanitation & cleanliness.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges effectively.
