About Us
We Heart Cake Company is a locally owned bakery in Honolulu, and we are looking for dependable, positive team members who want to learn and grow with us.
Extensive baking experience is NOT required.
We care much more about your attitude, reliability, work ethic, and willingness to learn than how much bakery experience you already have.
We can teach you our recipes, techniques, and systems. What we are looking for is someone who shows up, cares about doing a good job, takes feedback well, and genuinely wants to improve.

What You’ll Do
Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing cakes, desserts, mochi, and other bakery products
- Assisting with baking and daily production
- Decorating and finishing products
- Measuring, portioning, and preparing ingredients
- Packaging retail and wholesale orders
- Preparing customer pickup orders
- Assisting customers when needed
- Washing dishes and equipment
- Cleaning and organizing work areas
- Restocking and preparing for the next production day
- Helping teammates wherever needed
We are a small team, so everyone helps each other. There is no “that’s not my job” mentality here.

Physical Requirements
This is a physically active, hands-on bakery production position. Applicants must be able to perform the physical duties of the job, including:
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to frequently walk, bend, reach, lift, and move around the kitchen
- Ability to perform repetitive production tasks throughout the workday
- Ability and willingness to wash dishes, clean equipment, sweep, mop, take out trash, and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment
Cleaning and dishwashing are regular and essential parts of this position. All team members are expected to help maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

Experience
Professional bakery experience is a plus, but it is NOT required.
We would rather hire someone with little or no professional baking experience who is reliable, hardworking, responsible, and excited to learn than someone with years of experience who does not share our values.

Schedule & Benefits
Full-time team members are expected to work 5 days per week on a consistent basis.
Weekend availability is required. Weekend shifts, including Saturday and/or Sunday, are part of our regular work schedule.
Part-time positions may also be available for the right candidate.
