Full Job Description

Cath Lab RNs NEEDED ---

HAWAII LICENSE IN HAND REQUIRED TO APPLY

Honolulu, HAWAII

Start: 05/19 or 05/26

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: AM/Days

Hours: 40 hours guaranteed (4 10-hour shifts) + Call

Gross Weekly: $3,834.00

Hourly: $33.03

Per Diem: $2513.00

Requires:

Minimum 3 years recent Cath Lab experience

Active Hawaii RN License

AHA BLS, AHA ACLS

Notes:

Maximum 5 days of RTO allowed on initial contracts and must be included with candidate submittal for consideration

Oahu – 1 Cath Lab position

- MAX 5 days RTO on initial assignments

- Rotating Shift: Traveler could work AM or PM with no set rotation (most travelers have a PM heavy schedule)

- All Certs are required at time of submission

- License IN HAND at time of submission

- Highly recommended to review housing options prior to submittal

Traveler Friendly

First Day Instructions – Orientation Instructions and details sent by HR the Friday before a Monday start, first weeks schedule sent by Manager the Friday before a Monday start (2 separate communications)

Orientation – First day will be virtual (approximately 4 hours), second day will be on site (approximately 8 hours) then they report to the unit for 1 - 2 shadow shifts. If a traveler starts during a non-orientation week then they will report to the unit for shadow shifts first then go to orientation during their second week.

- No parking available. Staff/Travelers park offsite in the surrounding area. The most convenient options is across the street Approximately $8/day.

Wilcox - free on-site parking available.

Shadow Shift - 1 - 2 shadow shifts within your assigned unit

Additional Insight

Work Expectations –

Floating - Travelers will float to units of equal/lesser acuity as needed. Although not common, this may include floating to other facilities within the system.

Overtime - contract dependent; typically no overtime

Call –varies by facility and unit, best to discuss during the interview

Scheduling - Most contracts are for Rotating Shifts, travelers will work both days and nights during their contract. They should have a minimum of 24 hours off before changing from AM/PM or vice versa. Schedules are normally PM heavy.
