Birmingham’s historic landmark, The Club, is looking for fun, friendly, and energetic servers to join our team! The Club has been a Birmingham institution for over 70 years, with its breathtaking view of the city, unique architecture, and one-of-a kind restaurants and service.

Our goal is excellence through uncompromising service to our members in a caring and respectful manner. Our team provides high levels of service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to our members with three full-service restaurants, bar and lounge, along with a high volume of event activity.

Server Position Overview

As a server, you will play a vital role in delivering elevated hospitality and personalized service that exceeds the expectations of our members. Working in a polished, fast-paced, and discreet environment, you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of service, etiquette, and professionalism.

Server Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional and personalized service to members and guests in a discreet and professional manner.
Possess in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menus to confidently provide recommendations.
Anticipate guest needs and preferences to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organization, and presentation at all times.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Uphold club standards and maintain the confidentiality and privacy of all members.
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Assist in setting and resetting tables, managing reservations, and supporting event setups as needed.

Server Requirements

Previous serving experience required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Polished and professional appearance with a keen attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of wine, spirits, and fine cuisine is a plus.
Commitment to discretion, confidentiality, and exemplary service.

18+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous food and beverage experience required.
