Location: Houston, TX 77079 - Corporate Offices (REQUIRED – In-Office/On-Site work schedule)

Job Summary
Based on prior work related experience we are seeking a Gas Scheduler II or Gas Scheduler III to manage and support natural gas scheduling requirements for multiple Retail/LDC’s, interstate pipelines and/or intrastate pipelines. This position requires working before/after regular office hours including some/or holidays and weekends.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Responsible for account management for the retail portfolio and general load forecasting
Monitor and communicate pipeline operational information posting to Traders and colleagues in a timely manner
Manage pipeline imbalances, monitor and resolve pipeline volume discrepancies
Optimize pipeline capacity while working with Traders to minimize transportation costs
Enter and manage pipeline and LDC data in Entegrate Application Suite (Energy Trade/Risk Management System)
Reconcile transposition invoices and perform other operational functions as requested

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of 2 years natural gas scheduling experience
Must demonstrate problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments with competing deadlines
Must have strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

Abilities Required

Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc
Could involve some lifting up to 20 pounds
Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement
Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines
All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
