Reyes Blum PLLC is an established immigration law firm located in Southwest Houston, Texas. With a legacy spanning over 43 years, our firm provides exceptional legal services to clients in the areas of removal defense and family-based immigration law. We take pride in our commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client satisfaction.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Associate Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will help us continue our mission of serving clients with compassion and expertise. Prior immigration law experience is preferred, but not required, we are willing to train and support the right individual. Ability to speak and read Spanish is required. J.D. or L.L.M. from an accredited law school and active state bar membership is required.

Responsibilities:

● Represent clients in Immigration Court, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

● Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, and other legal documents.

● Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, staff, opposing counsel, and government agencies.

● Maintain organized case files and meet critical deadlines.

● Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations.

● Collaborate with staff and supervising attorneys on cases.

Qualifications:

● J.D. or L.L.M. from an accredited law school.

● Active state bar membership.

● Fluency in Spanish is required (both oral and written).

● Experience with immigration law, whether through a law school clinic, non-profit organization, government agency, or private law firm, is preferred but not required.

● Strong analytical, writing, and researching skills.

● Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

● Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and follow office procedures.

● Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

● Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Workspace.

● Strong desire to help and serve others.

● Ability to work occasional Saturdays based on business needs.

● Well-groomed, punctual, and possesses reliable transportation.
