Full Job Description

Seeking a detail‑oriented Environmental Waste Coordinator to support our waste management operations across multiple waste streams. This role combines technical review, documentation management, client communication, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage a high volume of work with accuracy and professionalism.

Position Summary

The Environmental Waste Coordinator is responsible for managing waste streams from initial profiling through final disposal. This includes interpreting laboratory analysis reports, preparing regulatory documentation, coordinating transportation and disposal logistics, and supporting inside sales functions. The role requires strong communication skills, technical understanding of waste classification, and the ability to maintain accurate records and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate waste disposal services for clients, including:
Waste profiling and classification
Preparing manifests, labels, bills of lading, and related documentation
Scheduling and coordinating waste pick‑ups and shipments
Prepare and submit waste profiles to disposal facilities and landfills
Interpret and evaluate environmental laboratory analysis reports
Guide clients through data collection and submission for waste profiling
Provide quotes and pricing for waste management services
Coordinate logistics with transporters, disposal sites, and clients
Submit complete profiles for facility approval
Prepare and issue invoices based on completed services in Quickbooks
Serve as Inside Sales Representative by fielding client inquiries, promoting additional services, and supporting the Sales & Marketing team
Utilize Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and Quickbooks for tracking, reporting, quoting and invoicing
Maintain accurate records of client activity and compliance documentation
Ensure reliable, consistent attendance and communication

Skills & Competencies

Understanding of waste classification and disposal processes
Ability to interpret environmental laboratory analysis
Knowledge of transportation and disposal documentation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Quickbooks or similar
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
High attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field preferred
Minimum 1 year experience in the environmental or waste management industry

Working Conditions

Primarily office‑based with occasional site visits
May require communication with disposal sites, transporters, and clients outside regular business hours

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
