Business Development & Growth Manager

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Company: FulfillPlus Inc.
Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000 - $150,000+

As we continue our growth, we are seeking a results-oriented Business Development & Growth Manager to drive new customer acquisition, manage our sales pipeline, and coordinate marketing initiatives that generate measurable revenue growth.

Position Overview

The Business Development & Growth Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while serving as the internal liaison between FulfillPlus and its external marketing agency.

This is a quota-carrying role focused on generating revenue through a combination of inbound lead conversion, outbound prospecting, relationship building, networking, and strategic growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing deals. This individual will play a critical role in helping FulfillPlus expand its customer base and strengthen its market presence.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the eCommerce, retail, manufacturing, consumer products, and logistics sectors.
Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.
Manage inbound leads and convert qualified prospects into customers.
Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and solution-based sales discussions.
Develop and present pricing proposals, service agreements, and sales presentations.
Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent prospecting and follow-up activities.
Maintain accurate records and reporting within the company's CRM platform.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

Marketing & Growth

Serve as the primary point of contact for FulfillPlus' external marketing agency.
Coordinate marketing campaigns, lead generation efforts, content initiatives, and brand messaging.
Monitor marketing performance and lead quality.
Provide customer insights and market feedback to improve campaign effectiveness.
Assist in developing case studies, customer success stories, sales collateral, and promotional materials.
Ensure marketing activities align with sales objectives and growth goals.

Relationship Management

Develop strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Collaborate with operations and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account transitions.
Represent FulfillPlus at trade shows, networking events, conferences, and industry functions.
Identify opportunities for account expansion and cross-selling within existing customer relationships.

QualificationsRequired

3+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or related growth-focused roles.
Proven track record of generating and closing new business.
Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM system.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on revenue generation and customer acquisition.

Preferred

Experience in third-party logistics (3PL), fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, freight brokerage, supply chain, or eCommerce industries.
Experience working with marketing agencies and coordinating lead generation initiatives.
Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms.
Existing network within eCommerce, retail, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
