Full Job Description

The Revit Drafter is part of the CAD Department. In this position you will make detailed manual or computer drawings of modular buildings from sketches and specifications conceived by engineers and designers. The finished drawings are used as working plans for engineering and manufacturing purposes. Depending on experience and level of responsibility, duties may vary from preparing basic drawings to modifying the finished design computer aided design equipment.

Responsibilities: Include, but may not be limited to the following:

Prepare detailed manual or computer-generated drawings based on sketches and specifications from engineers and designers.
Use Revit and AutoCAD software to create accurate drawings for modular building designs.
Modify and update existing drawings as required by engineering teams and project specifications.
Work closely with engineers and designers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Ensure drawings are completed within project timelines and adhere to company standards.
Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for accuracy and completeness.
Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy, ensuring high-quality outputs.
Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation for easy access and reference.
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities. Possesses problem-solving abilities.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with other team members.
Strong understanding and ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Basic mathematical skills and an understanding of engineering design concepts.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit and AutoCAD software.
Knowledge of MEP systems (Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing) is a plus.

Education:

High School Diploma;
Bachelor's degree a plus but not required
Revit Certification
1-3 years construction related experience preferred
