Full Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, while also promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. (Part time, Full Time, Substitute, and Internship available.)

Duties

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and supportive manner.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their needs are met.
Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the health and safety of all children in care.
Assist with special education needs as required, adapting activities to suit individual capabilities.

Requirements

Experience in caregiving or babysitting is preferred.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support children's development.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
Ability to provide care for infants through preschool-aged children; experience in toddler care is beneficial.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents alike.
A patient, nurturing demeanor with the ability to educate through playbased learning.
Background in special education is an advantage but not mandatory.

Requirements

Must have or obtain First Aid and CPR certificate within 10 days of offer acceptance
Complete required Childcare training within 14 days of off acceptance.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand, sit as required by job assignment.
High school diploma/GED
Pass background and drug screen.
