Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will combine strong systems and networking fundamentals with experience in virtualization, containerization, automation, monitoring, backup/recovery, and security best practices. This role partners with development, security, and operations teams to automate operations, improve performance and availability, and support incident response and capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities

Strong experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries
Proficiency in Python for data engineering, automation, and ETL/ELT development
Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI
Hands-on experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and other modern cloud data platforms (preferred)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries and working with data models
2+ years of experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes
Experience with modern data platforms, including Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud-based solutions
