P&C Independent Agency Experience Only (not captive or direct)

Cover Desk is a virtual assistant company working with independent insurance agencies, MGA’s/Wholesalers, and carriers. With over 100 national and regional insurance company partners, we deliver modern insurance solutions to the Independent Agency Channel.

With over 200 clients and 1000+ Virtual Assistants in the Philippines and Mexico, we are looking to expand and add licensed account management professionals all over the United States.

The last year has been a challenging year for everyone. Now more than ever, clients deserve the comfort and peace of mind that a dedicated home and auto insurance team provides. Cover Desk is growing! We need licensed and experienced account managers to join our personal lines team.

Account Manager - Client Retention position is client facing, working directly with current policyholders to assess their needs, review their current coverage, evaluate coverage options, and bind the appropriate coverage changes / rewrites based on the client’s needs.

Essential Duties:

Consult our existing personal lines clients about their coverage
Discuss accounts with clients and determine if remarket/reshop makes sense
Our Quote Processing team will complete the remarket with carriers
Present new coverage when we find a better option, or reinforce the current value and modify the policy coverage/deductible for retention
Underwriting liaison for placing current accounts with other carriers
Proactively support the agency in identifying and closing cross-sell opportunities
Coordinate service processing work with CSR’s
Role will have support team for billing, e-signatures, trailing docs, rate processing, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

REQUIRED Insurance P&C license
REQUIRED Two Years: Independent Agency Experience
Associates Degree or equivalent experience highly desired
Minimum 2-5 Years’ experience in Home and Auto: Rating, Presenting Coverage, Selling, Servicing, Adjuster, Underwriter
Experience with LM/Safeco, State Auto, Allstate, National General, Encompass, Travelers, Pure, Vault, AIG, Progressive, Auto Owners, Hippo, Kemper, The Hartford and more.
Salesforce/AMS360/Applied Epic/ Hawksoft/Ezlynx experience highly preferred
Consistent display of excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook & Word
Ability to effectively communicate with underwriters and carrier staff
Ability to work in a decentralized team environment, coordinating work with other team members remotely
