Full Job Description

Job Overview

Part-Time Bookkeeper (Property Management Company)

We are a property management company seeking an experienced, reliable part-time bookkeeper to support our growing portfolio.

Position Details:

Up to 10 + hours per week
Hours must be worked on-site at our local office additional out of office hours may be available.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-charge bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Record and reconcile rent payments, security deposits, and owner distributions
Track and code property-related income and expenses by property/unit
Prepare and deliver regular financial reports for ownership and property portfolios
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Support general ledger maintenance and accuracy

Property Management / Real Estate Focus:

Must have Propertymanagement/ Investmentbookkeepingexperience

Maintain accurate books for multiple rental properties
Assist with tenant ledger tracking and rent roll accuracy
Support expense tracking for repairs, maintenance, and vendor invoices
Work with property management systems and coordinate financial data as needed

Additional Responsibilities:

Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies or trends
Improve and streamline bookkeeping systems and processes
Provide organized, accurate reporting to support business decisions
Maintain strong attention to detail and data integrity

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Experience in real estate or property management bookkeeping strongly preferred
Ability to analyze financial statements
Strong work ethic, reliability, and integrity
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
