Waitstaff – The TAVERN at Liberty Farms

Position Overview

The TAVERN at Liberty Farms is seeking friendly, energetic, and professional waitstaff to provide exceptional service in a welcoming, farm-to-table dining environment. Our team is committed to creating memorable guest experiences through attentive service, teamwork, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the opening team of a brand-new restaurant. As we build a reputation for exceptional food and hospitality, waitstaff will have the opportunity to earn competitive hourly wages plus tips. We’re looking for team members who are motivated to provide outstanding service and help create the kind of guest experience that encourages repeat business and generous gratuities.

Compensation: Starting at $11.35 per hour, plus tips.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Develop a thorough understanding of the menu, daily specials, beverages, and all services offered to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations.
Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and presentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area throughout service.
Process guest payments using our point-of-sale (POS) system (training provided).
Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Work collaboratively with fellow team members to provide outstanding customer service.
Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
Willingness to learn all aspects of the menu and guest services.
Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift.
Ability to lift and carry plates, trays, and other restaurant supplies safely.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service.
