Full Job Description

The Avenue at Aurora is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings. With a hotel-like atmosphere and all-private suites, our environment is designed to promote comfort, dignity, and healing. We are proud to provide some of the area’s highest levels of rehabilitation, nursing, and medical support for individuals transitioning from hospital to home. Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate physical, medical, emotional, and spiritual care in a respectful and uplifting setting.

We’re looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Director to lead facility upkeep and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for our residents and staff. If you’re hands-on, organized, and safety-focused, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Duties:

Implement and oversee facility maintenance programs
Develop preventive maintenance schedules and supervise repairs
Train and supervise maintenance staff
Maintain safety documentation and lead safety drills
Ensure proper equipment care and waste disposal procedures
Collaborate with staff and service providers to meet resident needs
Maintain compliance with infection control and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

High school diploma preferred- Higher training preferred as well
Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate maintenance equipment safely
Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Experience with safety protocols and documentation
