Full Job Description

Location: Remote (California Licensed or Pre-Licensed Associates)

Employment Type: W-2 | 10-20+ hours per week

Role Overview

The EOS Associate Therapist provides clinical care within Ever After Therapy’s Enhanced Outpatient Support (EOS) program, a structured outpatient treatment track designed for clients who need more support than weekly therapy but do not require higher levels of care such as IOP or hospitalization.

EOS Associates work closely with the EOS Lead Clinician and Clinical Director, participating in collaborative treatment planning while providing increased-frequency therapy sessions.

You may be interested in working with conditions that are more complex that initially would benefit from a team based approach and more support than weekly therapy and less than IOP/PHP or Residential care.

You would thrive in this position if you are clinically curious, collaborative, open to feedback, and eager to build confidence in risk assessment, symptom stabilization, documentation of medical necessity, care coordination, and complex outpatient treatment.

This role is especially well-suited for associates nearing licensure who want mentorship, supervision, and a clear path toward future clinical leadership roles in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual therapy for clients enrolled in the EOS treatment track
Support clients receiving increased frequency outpatient care (typically 2–3 sessions per week)
Collaborate with the EOS Lead Clinician on treatment planning and clinical decision-making
Participate in weekly EOS case consultation and team-based care coordination
Document sessions clearly, including medical necessity and treatment progress
Monitor symptom changes and communicate clinical updates to the care team
Coordinate with families, partners, and outside providers when clinically appropriate
Support step-down planning as clients transition back to traditional weekly therapy
Develop advanced skills in risk assessment, symptom stabilization, and complex case conceptualization

Training & Clinical Development

EOS Associates receive direct mentorship and supervision focused on higher-acuity outpatient care, including:

Complex case conceptualization
Treatment planning for increased session frequency
Documentation of medical necessity
Care coordination with families and outside providers
Clinical leadership development

The goal of this role is to prepare strong clinicians to step into EOS Lead Clinician roles after licensure.

Qualifications

Registered AMFT, ACSW, or APCC in California in good standing
Master’s degree in MFT, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Experience providing therapy to adolescents, adults, or families
Strong clinical documentation and ability to articulate medical necessity
Ability to conceptualize cases and implement structured treatment plans
Comfort working with clients experiencing moderate symptom severity or increased clinical need
Interest in team-based care, consultation, and professional growth
