Full Job Description

Grassroots Associate, Political Canvasser for Conservative Organization

Join the Fight for Freedom, Opportunity, and Prosperity in the Boise Area of ID

Join Americans for Prosperity in Idaho as a Grassroots Associate and be part of a community of millions of concerned citizens fighting for freedom, opportunity, and prosperity. Work part-time while making a positive impact in your community.

Responsibilities:

· Engage with fellow Idahoans at doors to promote low taxes, limited government, freedom, and economic opportunity.

· Conduct outreach activities such as DOOR-to-DOOR canvassing in VARIED WEATHER conditions.

· Build and maintain relationships with local partners and supporters.

· Provide regular feedback and updates to Americans for Prosperity ID.

Qualifications:

***Must be located in or nearby to the following cities: Boise***

Candidates must be within 30 minutes of Boise

· Passionate about promoting freedom, opportunity, and prosperity.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

(***Must be willing and able to knock doors in VARIED WEATHER conditions for multiple hours per day***).

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Willingness to work weekends but not always required since you will have flexibility to choose hours. Any day of the week is an option.

· Valid driver's license.

Pass background check

Must be available to work minimum 20 hour per week. More hours available depending on staffing limits. Max 39 hours per week. If you already have a full-time job please do not apply.

***Having a working vehicle for daily use is mandatory. No public transport or rides.****

Benefits:

· Competitive pay at $21.00/hr. Performance increases available.

· Create your own part-time work hours.

***If you are located out of area/state we DO NOT provide relocation assistance or expenses. Interviews will not be granted to out of state applicants.****

Resume optional, but preferred.

Include any relevant sales, phones, canvassing, political experience. (This type of experience is preferred, but strong communication skills are required)

Pay: $21.00 per hour
