Summary of Responsibilities

The main goal of the Cook is to prepare food for patients per their dietary requests and restrictions. They maintain high standards of quality food production while ensuring that the appropriate quantities of food are prepared to meet many requirements. They are responsible for setting trays accurately, cleanliness of the work area, and the safe and sanitary handling of food, equipment, and supplies. The Promontory Point Rehabilitation mission is to provide the greatest transitional rehabilitation and skilled nursing care experience in a distinct 5-star setting.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum one (1) year experience in Food and Hospitality Customer Service is preferred.
Obtain and maintain Food Handlers Certification.
Must have the ability to bend, stoop, and lift.
Must be on your feet most of the shift.
Must be able to lift about fifty pounds.
Ability to achieve high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
License driver with well working automobile for reliability getting to and from work in all types of weather to ensure reliability.
