40 Hours | Flexible schedule to meet department needs

Position Summary

Develop and coordinate professional and short-term career training programs in collaboration with other division coordinators, credit divisions, and external partners.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Develop professional and short-term career training options
Research and provide input on new training programs and services to serve customers
Maintain contact with customers, training partners, and advisory groups to ensure that training needs are being met and verify that marketing strategies are effective
In consultation with supervisor, create program budget establish revenue targets for program
Plan and coordinate details of each seminar and training program including:
- Recruit, recommend, orient, and evaluate instructors
- Coordinate with MCC personnel for room scheduling
- Arrange for room set-up
- Prepare class materials
- Notify all necessary personnel and students of cancellation
- Provide for needed instructional support
Implement procedures to maintain quality of programs
- Implement evaluation process to ensure program quality
- Monitor enrollment and class cancellations
- Verify and distribute certificates of completion
- Complete appropriate documentation for professional education classes
- Analyze program performance data
Communicate with instructors regarding class assignments, student issues and other issues that arise
Develop schedule of course offerings
- Coordinate marketing efforts in collaboration with OMPR
- Communicate and collaborate with other MCC programs to meet customer needs
- Coordinate clinical experience and certification exams as needed
- Assist with securing and maintaining contracts with clinical sites and third-party vendors
- Assist with securing necessary insurance documents
- Work collaboratively with others (e.g. colleagues, stakeholders, vendors) to accomplish functions and responsibilities
- Assume additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
Two years of related experience
Experience in program development and coordination

Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree from a regionally accredited institution

Skills and Specifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work from a general outline of duties and responsibilities
Ability to perform basic data analysis and synthesis, report creation, process performance, and regulatory or compliance activities
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented
Ability to work independently within a team concept
Ability to establish and maintain relationships
Ability to safely lift 25 pounds unassisted

Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to evaluate and prioritize tasks, problem solving ability
