Position Overview: As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance employees and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, mechanical equipment, and buildings. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in electrical work and welding.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
- Fix or replace faulty electrical switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
- Inspect and diagnose problems, determining the best course of action for correction.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure continuous machine operation.
- Assemble and set up machinery or equipment.
- Plan repair work using blueprints or diagrams.
- Conduct general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and properties.
- Order supplies from catalogs and storerooms.
- Meet with clients to estimate repairs and associated costs.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work.
- Manage 2-4 maintenance personnel.
- Maintain and Update LIMBLE maintenance software.
Additional Duties:
- Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
- Installing new production equipment.
- Servicing and maintaining equipment, including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
- Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
- Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
- Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Communicating effectively with the production team.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Preparing and submitting detailed maintenance reports.
- Maintaining HIPPO System
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance, with a focus on electrical and welding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
- Electrical and/or Welding Certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant technical or vocational training.
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance leadership role.
