Full Job Description

```Job Overview:```
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our operations. The Kitchen Manager is an experienced baker or pizza maker and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service, and managing a team of dedicated staff members.

The Good:

Base salary is $55,000 plus a $5,000 retention bonus paid in quarterly increments.

Benefits include BCBS health/vision/dental insurance, two weeks paid time off, and paid holidays.

Our kitchen is located in a brewery and the team and customers are extremely kind, professional, and supportive!

The Real:

We operate in a tight kitchen space. on busy shifts, three people will be working strategically to manage the space and workflow of a high volume pizza operation.

Bigger than a food truck, but still tight.

```Duties:```
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including staff management, customer service, and financial performance
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and mentor staff members to deliver outstanding service
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with staff, suppliers, and customers to ensure high-quality food offerings
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Coordinate and supervise special orders and events

```Requirements:```
- Previous experience as a Manager, Assistant Manager, or Shift Supervisor in a professional kitchen setting with baking and/or pizza-making
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- the ability to maintain a positive attitude, regardless of circumstances in the moment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Solid understanding of financial management principles
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

This is a salaried position but the KM will never be expected to work more than 40-50 hours weekly unless an extreme exception/emergency calls for it. Over the last three years this has happened 4-5 times (illness, weather emergency etc).
