About us

Edwards & Everhart Dental is a privately owned practice in El Dorado Hills, CA. We are committed to creating the best possible experience for our patients. Our two doctor practice has been part of the community for almost 20 years and we have a reputation for providing quality, caring dentistry for the entire family.

We are looking for a Sterilization Technician to support our back office staff. The job role would include managing sterilization, cleaning and setting up rooms, bagging instruments, and general office cleaning and organization. The applicant should already be fully trained and independently be able to manage sterilization duties.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Utilize dental software systems such as Dexis and Dentrix
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure a clean and safe environment

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a dental office
- Proficient in HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
- Experience with dental software systems such as Dentrix and Dexis

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
