We're looking for an experienced manufacturing leader who is passionate about building high-performing teams, improving operational efficiency, and creating a culture of accountability.

As our Director of Manufacturing, you'll provide strategic and hands-on leadership across our machining, assembly, inventory, and procurement operations. Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you'll help strengthen collaboration, improve manufacturing performance, and implement measured changes and processes that support continued growth while maintaining the quality and reliability our customers expect.

Pay: $80,000-$100,000 annual salary

Schedule: Monday-Thursday/Friday

Essential Duties:

Oversee manufacturing operations including machining, assembly, and procurement departments, supporting and collaborating with current managers, providing technical and execution leadership.
Establish manufacturing priorities, strategic objectives, and measurable performance goals aligned with company values, initiatives and objectives.
Monitor and analyze key manufacturing metrics, including productivity, throughput, quality, labor utilization, inventory accuracy, schedule attainment, and on-time delivery performance identifying trends.
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts focused on waste reduction, process standardization, workflow optimization, employee experience and operational efficiency.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve production flow, communication, and interdepartmental coordination.
Serve as an escalation point for significant operational, production, staffing, or workflow challenges impacting business performance.
Partner closely with Service, Engineering and Sales to support customer requirements, product improvements, production readiness, and organizational objectives.
Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities including production forecasting, staffing alignment, manufacturing capacity planning, and inventory strategy.
Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory expectations.
Collaborate with manufacturing managers to lead operational planning and budgeting activities including labor planning, cost management, and department budget adherence.
Support Department managers in driving any needed improvements in inventory control, material flow, warehouse organization, and production scheduling accuracy.
Communicate changes and strategic initiatives to the teams alongside department managers, serving as a sounding board for questions or concerns.
Champion a positive, solutions-oriented culture that supports employee engagement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, including work within a machining, industrial manufacturing, automation, or engineered products environment.
Experience in automation industry with technical experience required
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, not required.
Strong leadership experience managing projects in collaboration with other managers while driving accountability, performance improvement, and output.
Proven experience implementing lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
Understanding of CNC machining, assembly operations, inventory management, production scheduling, and manufacturing workflows.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production performance metrics preferred.
Strong financial and business acumen including budgeting, labor planning, cost control, and operational forecasting.
Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Adaptable with comfortability in fast-paced work environments.
Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication abilities.
Superior leadership with abilities to empower and inspire teams and create a culture of accountability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing-related systems/software.
