Graphic Designer (Part-Time)

We are a full-service creative and digital agency known for our high standards, collaborative culture, and deep expertise in the hospitality space.

We partner closely with our clients to bring their stories to life through elevated design, thoughtful content, and strategic digital execution. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our design department and help bring our clients’ brands to life across digital, print, and social platforms.

Position Overview
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for producing high-quality creative across digital, print, web, branding, and general marketing collateral. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, can manage multiple projects at once, and is excited about both working within established brand guidelines and contributing to brand identity development as we onboard new clients. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Design, Creative Director, internal teams, and client managers to ensure all deliverables are on-brand, on time, and aligned with Poolside’s creative standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design digital and print assets across branding, social media, websites, menus, email marketing, promotional materials, and general marketing collateral.
Translate brand guidelines into consistent, visually compelling creative across all client touchpoints.
Assist in maintaining brand kits, templates, and design assets for all clients.
Create new brand identities for incoming clients, including logo development, color palettes, typography pairings, and overall visual direction.
Design, prepare, and schedule email campaigns in alignment with brand standards.
Update digital assets such as website menus, hours, events, and seasonal content with accuracy and attention to detail.
Collaborate with both internal teams and client managers to collect all necessary assets, clarify project needs, and ensure timely delivery.
Manage multiple assignments at once while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong communication.
Participate in internal reviews and contribute constructive feedback and ideas, while also receiving direction and revisions with professionalism and openness.
Support the Head of Design in refining systems, workflows, and design organization.

Required Qualifications

Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, layout, typography, and digital design.
Proficiency in Canva, Squarespace, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong ability to design for and adapt to diverse brand guidelines across multiple clients.
Experience developing brand identities from scratch including logo design, font pairing, visual direction, and brand system creation.
Strong understanding of designing for digital platforms, including social media and web.
Strong understanding of designing for a wide range of print assets.
Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience as a graphic designer
Experience designing for hospitality, restaurants, or lifestyle brands.
Photo editing
Motion graphics skills
Basic understanding of custom CSS for website design
